IPAF Operator Training
Course Duration:
1 Day Course
Aim:
To instuct an operator to prepare and safely operate various types of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP's) and to obtain an IPAF MEWP Operators licence (Certificate & PAL Card) Candidates can opt to train on 1 or 2 catagories of machine. The training is valid for 5 years
NB. Candidates who have completed the IPAF course previously can choose to attend the renewal course. To qualify for this the renewal must be completed before the original training expires. Also candidates must be able to provide a half-completed log book as proof of their continued machine use.
Objectives:
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:-
- Be aware of the relevant Health and Safety regulations
- Be aware of accident prevention and control
- Be aware of the needs regarding personal protection
- Be aware of the need to refer to the machine operators manual
- Drive the MEWP safely and manoeuvre the machine as required, to correctly position and carry out the required tasks in a correct and proper manner, inside and outside a building

Training Location Options:
We are able to offer this course from both our Devon & Cornwall training centres as well as giving customers the option to hold training on site at a location of their choice. (Subject to you being able to provide a suitable classroom facility and any other necessary facilities required for this course - please contact us for further details.)
